Tuesday night drumming is an on-going open group drum class. We meet every Tuesday from 7-8:15pm. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Each class begins with a warm up and review of basic technique. We then learn a traditional West African rhythm, beginning with it's history, ethnicity, and region where it comes from, and moving into the djembe accompaniments, the sangban, kenkeni and dununba melodies, and eventually soloing.
